Casa del Cenote Negro

The Casa del Cenote Negro is one of just a handful of properties located on the shore of the mysterious Cenote Negro, the deepest of the four cenotes that form part of Laguna Bacalar, just 1.2 kilometers south of the historic downtown. Guests enjoy exclusive access to the Cenote with a large dock and shared use of kayaks and hammocks and other amenities. A vacation rental since 2018, the Casa del Cenote Negro has several dwellings, each with their own kitchen & air conditioned bedrooms. Each dwelling is available to rent separately (see Airbnb listings on Home page) or together as a retreat center.  The lodgings are rustic yet clean and comfortable and the lakeside terraces are the main attraction. The Casa del Cenote Negro is pet & kid friendly & we love hosting small groups who are committed to wellness & sustainability.
